Giants and Cardinals to Honor Negro Leagues at Historic Rickwood Field

Teams will wear throwback uniforms celebrating the San Francisco Sea Lions and St. Louis Stars in the first MLB game at the iconic Birmingham ballpark.

Rickwood Field, the oldest professional baseball park in the U.S., will host its first MLB game on June 20.
The Giants and Cardinals will don throwback uniforms from the Negro Leagues teams of their cities.
Rickwood Field was home to the Birmingham Black Barons, where Willie Mays started his career.
The game is part of MLB's tribute to the history and legacy of the Negro Leagues.
Prior to the MLB game, a minor league game will also honor Negro League teams.
