Overview

  • The weeklong test includes the complete introductory chapter with a mini-boss, a main boss, ten progression levels, and access to the first section of the upgrade tree.
  • Registrations add players to a pre-alpha waitlist after authenticating via Steam or Discord and submitting an email address.
  • One More Level and Lyrical Games will host speedrun, screenshot, and fan art contests during the event with chances to win prize packs at launch.
  • This playtest is available on PC only, while the full game is slated for PC, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X|S with a 2026 release window.
  • Valor Mortis pairs first-person Soulslike design with fluid switching between saber, pistol, and red magic in a corrupted Napoleonic setting shaped by Nephtoglobin.
