Ghostbusters: Frozen Empire Set to Release on March 22, 2024

The upcoming film continues the Ghostbusters: Afterlife storyline and sees the return of the original Ghostbusters to battle a new evil force in New York City.

The Ghostbusters franchise, which debuted in 1984, has four films and two animated series to date, with a fifth film, Frozen Empire, set to release on March 22, 2024.
The upcoming film, Frozen Empire, is a sequel to the 2021 film, Ghostbusters: Afterlife, and continues the storyline featuring the grandchildren of Egon Spengler.
Ghostbusters: Frozen Empire will see the return of the original Ghostbusters, Peter Venkman (Bill Murray), Ray Stantz (Dan Aykroyd), and Winston Zeddermore (Ernie Hudson), along with Janine Melnitz (Annie Potts) and the bureaucratic villain, Walter Peck.
In Frozen Empire, the Spengler family returns to the iconic New York City firehouse and teams up with the original Ghostbusters to battle an evil force unleashed by an ancient artifact, threatening to plunge the world into a second Ice Age.
New faces in the Frozen Empire cast include Patton Oswalt as Dr. Hubert Wartzki, Kumail Nanjiani as Nadeem Razmaadi, James Acaster as Lars Pinfield, and Emily Alyn Lind in an undisclosed role.
