Overview

  • The Complete Edition went live October 1, 2026, and is available digitally for $69.99 with an upgrade priced at $14.99 for existing owners, while some regions received the update with an October 2 local date.
  • Echoes of Sekigahara is a paid narrative expansion that adds the Ashoro Foothills region, flashbacks to Atsu’s time at the Battle of Sekigahara, new enemies, heavy weapons, armor sets and cosmetics and has been praised for adding emotional depth despite a modest scope.
  • Most Wanted is a new single‑player, run‑based roguelike survival mode with escalating bounties, unlockable progression, four playable characters including Jin Sakai from Ghost of Tsushima, and early reviews call it the package’s most compelling value‑add.
  • Patch v2.005 activated Quick Spectral Super Resolution (QSSR), an AI upscaling tier on base PS5 built from Sony’s Project Amethyst work with AMD, aimed at improving fine detail and temporal stability for players who run the feature.
  • All owners received free v2.0 quality‑of‑life and accessibility additions such as Beauty of Yōtei mode, new Watanabe Mode tracks, transmog and a high‑contrast option while the Complete Edition also bundles crossover armor sets, extra cosmetics and new Trophies.
