Ghost of Tsushima Anime Adaptation 'Legends' Announced for 2027

Sony confirms a 2027 release for its first anime adaptation, based on the game's Legends multiplayer mode, to stream exclusively on Crunchyroll.

The anime, titled 'Ghost of Tsushima: Legends,' will be based on the Legends multiplayer mode, which incorporates Japanese folklore and mythology.
The series will be directed by Takanobu Mizuno (Star Wars: Visions) with story composition by Gen Urobuchi (Fate/Zero) and animation by Kamikaze Douga (Batman Ninja).
Produced in collaboration with Crunchyroll, Aniplex, Sony Music, and PlayStation Productions, the anime marks PlayStation's first venture into anime adaptations.
The adaptation aims to capture the samurai aesthetics, cinematic storytelling, and striking visuals of the original game and its Legends mode.
The series will premiere exclusively on Crunchyroll in 2027, with additional production details and cast announcements expected in the future.
