Overview
- The match kicks off at 20:00 GMT on Thursday, 5 November 2026 at Getafe’s Estadio Coliseum and will be shown in the UK on TNT Sports via HBO Max.
- Brighton arrive in strong form with four Conference League points from two games and a morale-boosting 1-0 victory over Manchester City that has bookmakers backing them.
- Getafe have one point from their opening two group fixtures, suffered a 5-2 home defeat to Lugano in the competition but beat Sevilla 3-1 in La Liga and need a positive result to improve their group position.
- Both squads face notable absences that will shape selection: Getafe will be without Christantus Uche and Juanmi with Zaid Romero doubtful and Dani Carvajal ineligible for the competition, while Brighton are missing several attacking options including Kaoru Mitoma, Evan Ferguson and Stefanos Tzimas plus other unavailable players.
- Pre-match coverage lists Brighton as favourites with bet365 odds reflecting that view, previews highlight a tactical contrast between Brighton’s compact defensive record and Getafe’s physical counter-attacks, and the fixture is the clubs’ first competitive meeting with Filip Glova named as referee.
