Gersh Enters Sports Representation with Acquisition of You First

The deal doubles Gersh’s workforce, establishes a global presence, and creates a new sports division to expand its client offerings.

Gersh, a Beverly Hills-based talent agency, has acquired Madrid-based sports representation firm You First, marking its entry into athlete representation.
The acquisition doubles Gersh's staff to over 600 employees and expands its reach to 22 offices across 14 countries.
You First represents over 1,000 clients, including prominent soccer and basketball players like Fabián Ruiz, Alexia Putellas, and Jarrett Allen, as well as brands and leagues such as Formula 1 and Starbucks.
The new division, Gersh Sports, will be led by Steve Gersh, while You First CEO Juan Aísa will join Gersh’s board and continue to oversee You First operations.
This move is part of Gersh’s broader growth strategy, supported by a private equity partnership, following its earlier acquisition of A3 Artists Agency’s digital and alternative content departments.
