Overview

• Berlin-Brandenburg Landesspiele began July 10 with over 1,600 athletes competing in venues across Berlin and Potsdam in sports from athletics to boccia.
• Baden-Württemberg’s event continues through July 12 in Heilbronn and Neckarsulm with around 1,100 participants and a free public program that includes a downtown beach volleyball court.
• Erlangen is preparing to host Bavaria’s Landesspiele from July 14 to 18 with 1,500 athletes and a total of 3,000 participants, marking the state’s largest inclusive sports gathering of 2025.
• Performances at each Landesspiele serve as official qualifiers for the 2026 National Games in Saarland and the 2027 World Games in Santiago, Chile.
• Organizers and ambassadors including Felix Kroos emphasize communal participation and host Unified competitions that bring together athletes with and without disabilities.
