- Delegates at the Thuringia congress in Ilmenau rejected a proposal by 50.8% to allow Christian Schaft to serve simultaneously as party chair and parliamentary group leader.
- Katja Maurer and Ralf Plötner were elected Thuringia’s new co-chairs with 91.4% and 81.9% support, replacing Christian Schaft and Ulrike Grosse-Röthig.
