Overview
- Wörth’s single-day “Weihnachten im Dorf” returns on Saturday, December 13 (14:00–22:00) with 39 stands under the association Wir das Herz von Wörth, which is waiving vendor fees, plus children’s singing and a Santa visit at 18:00.
- Berlin’s weatherproof Merry Markthalle at Markthalle Neun opens only on the remaining Advent Sundays, December 14 and 21, from 11:00 to 18:00 with free admission.
- Bad Wildungen’s market runs with a reduced layout that drops the stage and Knusperhaus and spaces huts further from buildings to keep emergency routes clear, while music sets and free guided tours proceed across the old town.
- Several regional hubs extend hours beyond 20:00, including Augsburg’s Christkindlesmarkt until 21:30 on Fridays and Saturdays, the City‑Galerie Winterland’s outdoor service to 22:00 and BierStadl to midnight, and Neu‑Ulm’s medieval market to 21:30 or 22:00 depending on the day.
- Flagship city markets continue through late December with set programs, including Munich’s Krampuslauf on December 14, Ulm’s Münsterplatz market with about 130 stalls and a tree lit by more than 18,000 lights, and detailed schedules in Ingolstadt and Münster.
