- Police recorded 62,526 illegal entries in 2025, down from 83,572 in 2024 and 127,549 in 2023.
- Since border controls were reintroduced in September 2024, officers registered 67,918 illegal entries, refused or pushed back 46,426 people, and blocked 2,513 over re-entry bans.
- From the May 8 intensification through year-end, 33,338 illegal entries were logged and 24,400 people were turned away at land borders.
