Extreme cases included a driver in Thüringen clocked at 210 km/h in a 100 km/h zone, facing a three-month driving ban, fines, and penalty points.
Bayern reported a 14% increase in violations compared to last year, with 9,832 cases in 24 hours despite pre-announced speed checks.
Hessen logged over 11,000 violations during the campaign, with one driver exceeding the limit by 83 km/h on the A661 near Frankfurt.
Authorities plan to continue intensive speed monitoring using advanced technology throughout the year to deter dangerous driving and improve road safety.
