Overview

• From December 2025, the Rentenzuschlag for eligible Erwerbsminderungsrentner will no longer be sent mid‑month and will be paid together with the regular pension.
• The supplement will be recalculated on personal Entgeltpunkte; if the December 2025 pension including the supplement is higher than November’s, the difference will be multiplied by 17 and backpaid with no clawback if it is lower.
• The Deutsche Rentenversicherung will issue new notices about the change and provides a free hotline, and recipients are urged to review calculations and bank details.
• An extra payout window runs from 10 to 20 September 2025 for people whose Erwerbsminderungsrente began between 2001 and 2018 and still existed on 30 June 2024.
• The 3.74% pension increase effective July will be fully reflected in September after a temporary Pflegebeitrag surcharge, with one pension point now valued at €40.79 and the regular September payment due on Tuesday, 30 September 2025.
