- Head coach Stefan Horngacher confirmed both Andreas Wellinger and Karl Geiger will skip the Engelberg World Cup to work on form.
- Wellinger has stepped out of World Cup competition to train until Christmas after finishes of 40th and 57th in Klingenthal.
- Karl Geiger, already left out in Klingenthal due to poor results, will also miss Engelberg to continue targeted preparation.
- Luca Roth is expected to take Geiger’s start in Engelberg, while Wellinger’s replacement remains undecided.
- Final selections for the Four Hills Tournament will be set with the coaching staff ahead of the Oberstdorf qualification on December 28.
