Overview
- Westfield Centro Oberhausen opens its market on 14 November with a drone show and extends shopping-centre hours, including Fridays and Saturdays until 22:00 from 27 November and daily 10:00–22:00 from 12–30 December, with special times on 24 and 31 December.
- Duisburg’s city-centre market runs 13 November to 30 December with published daily hours and holiday exceptions, while the Lichtermarkt at Landschaftspark Duisburg‑Nord marks its tenth year on 28–30 November with adult admission of about €6.50.
- Dortmund promotes its large Weihnachtsstadt with more than 250 stands and a 45‑metre tree lit by roughly 138,000 LEDs, adds family and stage programming through 30 December, and confirms the Schloss Bodelschwingh market remains suspended until the end of 2026 due to renovation.
- Dresden releases a full slate from 26 November, led by the Striezelmarkt (to 24 December) and themed venues such as the Stallhof medieval market and Augustusmarkt, with several running into early January and largely free entry.
