Overview
- From 10 October to 13 December, Deutsche Bahn will restrict the Würzburg–Ansbach–Treuchtlingen corridor, including a full shutdown from 17 to 26 October, with replacement buses and select IC pairs canceled as weekend tourist trains divert via Nuremberg with partial loss of the Augsburg stop.
- After the Gengenbach mill fire, Schwarzwaldbahn trains will pass the town slowly without stopping as replacement buses run, while local officials warn about combustion residues including possible asbestos and offer to cover vehicle cleaning.
- Munich’s S‑Bahn Stammstrecke will close 17–20 October for major works with extensive line truncations and 10‑minute shuttles between Pasing and Hauptbahnhof, with additional closures scheduled on further October and November dates.
- The A70 Tunnel Schwarzer Berg toward Schweinfurt is shut 6–17 October to install new LED lighting and upgrade active guidance, with contraflow through the remaining tube and likely delays.
- Road restrictions also include night closures on the A100 near Kurfürstendamm from 7–10 October and a full weekend closure of the B233 at the A1 Kamen junction from 11–13 October to lift bridge elements.
