Germany Faces a Week of Mixed Winter Weather with Frost, Snow, and Rising Temperatures

Snowfall and freezing rain are expected to impact parts of western and southern Germany starting Tuesday, potentially causing hazardous driving conditions.
While early-week conditions remain cold and gray, midweek temperatures are forecast to rise, reaching up to 11°C in Munich and other areas by Thursday.
Windy conditions with gusts up to 70 km/h are anticipated in higher elevations, particularly in regions like NRW and Rheinland-Pfalz, during the early part of the week.
Despite the midweek warming trend, intermittent snowfall and rain are expected to persist in some areas, especially in northern and eastern Germany.
