Tuesday and Wednesday will bring widespread rain, lower daytime temperatures ranging from 8°C to 15°C, and frost-free but chilly nights in most areas.
Higher-altitude regions may see snow or freezing rain midweek, while dense fog is predicted to affect visibility in some areas during early mornings.
