Germany Delivers Major Military Aid Package to Ukraine

The package includes advanced air defense systems, tanks, ammunition, and humanitarian supplies to bolster Ukraine's defense against Russian attacks.

Germany's latest aid package to Ukraine includes two IRIS-T air defense systems, two Patriot launchers, and two Gepard anti-aircraft guns with 65,000 rounds of ammunition.
The package also features 15 Leopard 1 A5 tanks, a Panzerhaubitze 2000 howitzer, and additional ammunition for Leopard 2 tanks and other artillery systems.
Other equipment delivered includes drones, radars, armored vehicles, mine-clearing systems, and over 4.3 million rounds of small arms ammunition.
Humanitarian supplies such as emergency generators, tents, and medical equipment were also included to support Ukraine's broader needs.
Germany, the second-largest supporter of Ukraine after the U.S., has provided or pledged military aid worth €28 billion since Russia's invasion began.
