Germany Car Market Rebounds as BEVs Reach 21% Without Subsidies, Skoda Elroq Tops Charts

  • Germany logged 250,133 new passenger cars in October, up 7.8% year on year.
  • Battery-electric registrations rose to 52,425 for a 21.0% share, roughly 48% higher than a year earlier.

  • Plug-in hybrids reached 30,946 registrations, up 60% versus October 2024.
