Germany Accuses Russian GRU Unit of Cyber-Attacks on NATO and EU

Intelligence agencies warn of espionage, sabotage, and disruption of aid to Ukraine by GRU's Unit 29155.

The BfV identified GRU's Unit 29155 as responsible for cyber-attacks on critical infrastructure and government sectors.
The cyber-attacks targeted NATO and EU countries, as well as global entities, involving espionage and sabotage.
Unit 29155, also known as Cadet Blizzard or Ember Bear, has a history of high-profile operations, including the 2018 Skripal poisonings.
The warning is issued in collaboration with the FBI, CISA, NSA, and other international partners.
Germany had previously accused Russia of cyber-attacks on its Social Democrats, defence, and aerospace sectors.
