German Tour Operator We-Flytour Files for Insolvency, Cancels Upcoming Trips

Around 1,500 travelers in Turkey and Egypt are affected, with refunds and return arrangements secured by the German Travel Security Fund.

We-Flytour GmbH, a Heilbronn-based travel operator, has officially filed for insolvency as of November 25, 2024.
All trips scheduled to begin by November 26, 2024, have been canceled, leaving affected customers unable to travel as planned.
Approximately 1,500 travelers currently abroad, primarily in Turkey and Egypt, are impacted but assured of safe returns or continued holidays through the German Travel Security Fund (DRSF).
Pauschalreisende (package tour travelers) are protected under EU regulations, ensuring refunds for canceled trips and prepaid amounts.
The insolvency was reportedly triggered by a sudden payment processing disruption due to the withdrawal of a key credit card service provider.
