German Ski Jumpers Struggle at Willingen Home World Cup

Andreas Wellinger and Pius Paschke placed 17th and 27th, respectively, with Paschke hindered by challenging wind conditions.
Karl Geiger, one of Germany's more consistent jumpers recently, failed to qualify for the second round after struggling with his jump.
The competition was won by Austria's Daniel Tschofenig, followed by Slovenia's Anze Lanisek and Austria's Maximilian Ortner.
German athletes have another chance to compete in Willingen on Sunday, following mixed results in team and women's events earlier in the weekend.
