German Police Seize Illegal Weapons from Teens Returning from Polish Market

Two Hamburg teenagers, aged 14 and 16, were caught with a cache of weapons on a shuttle bus crossing the German-Polish border.

Federal police discovered illegal weapons during a routine bus inspection on Sunday afternoon near the German-Polish border.
The teenagers were found carrying ten telescopic batons, five blank-firing pistols with ammunition, a pepper spray device, and three stun guns.
The weapons were confiscated, and the teens are now under investigation for illegal possession of firearms.
Authorities noted an increasing trend of individuals, particularly youths, bringing weapons from the Polish market into Germany.
The shuttle bus operates three times daily between Berlin and the Hohenwutzen market in Poland, a popular destination for bargain shoppers.
