German Police Expand Search for Suspect in Deadly Göppingen Bar Shooting

Authorities are using nationwide digital displays and offering a €3,000 reward to locate the unidentified man linked to the October attack.

In early October, a shooting at a bar in Göppingen left one man dead and two others critically injured, with all three victims identified as Syrian nationals.
The suspect, described as a slim man aged 18–24 and approximately 1.75 meters tall, was reportedly dressed in black during the incident.
The weapon used in the attack is believed to have been a submachine gun, according to police reports.
The police have launched a nationwide campaign, displaying the suspect's photo on 4,000 digital screens at highway rest stops and airports across Germany.
A €3,000 reward has been offered for information leading to the suspect's identification and arrest, with multilingual posters distributed to police stations nationwide.
