German Parcel Deliveries Climb to 4.29 Billion

Fueled by a surge in online retail, parcel volumes are on track to rise about a quarter by 2030 under current forecasts.

  • DHL remained the market leader with Amazon second and other competitors including Hermes, DPD, GLS, FedEx and UPS.
  • KE-Consult forecasts parcel volumes will grow about 3 percent this year and reach roughly 25 percent above 2024 levels by 2030.
