German Navy Helicopter Rescues Two From Sinking Boat Off Wangerooge

A Navy NH90 diverted from a hoist exercise executed the winch rescue.

Einsatz der Deutschen Gesellschaft zur Rettung Schiffbrüchiger (DGzRS) und der Marine mit dem SAR-Hubschrauber vom Typ NH90 für ein im Seegatt zwischen Spiekeroog und Wangerooge sinkendes Motorboot. Die beiden Schiffbrüchigen wurden vom Hubschrauber geborgen.

Rettungsflieger der Marine haben vor der Insel Wangerooge zwei Schiffbrüchige aus der Nordsee gerettet. Wie die Deutsche Gesellschaft zur Rettung Schiffbrüchiger mitteilte, strandete das Motorboot der beiden Männer auf einer Sandbank und sank.
