German Kicker Lenny Krieg Signs Three-Year Deal with Atlanta Falcons

Lenny Krieg, a 23-year-old German kicker, has signed a three-year contract with the Atlanta Falcons, marking a milestone for international athletes in the NFL.
Krieg previously played for the Stuttgart Surge in the European League of Football, where his performance attracted NFL scouts' attention.
During his Pro Day, Krieg successfully converted all 14 field goal attempts from distances of 35 to 55 yards, showcasing his accuracy and range.
He becomes the third German player to join the NFL through the International Player Pathway program, following Jakob Johnson and Marcel Dabo.
Krieg will compete with current Falcons kicker Younghoe Koo, whose performance last season was under scrutiny, for the starting role.
