German Couple Sets New Record With 621 Christmas Trees in One House

RID certified 621 decorated trees inside their 180-square-metre home to mark the couple's seventh record.

Overview

  • RID judge Olaf Kuchenbecker verified the count on site in Rinteln and measured a new four-metre centerpiece.
  • The display grew by 21 trees from last year and now fills virtually every room of the house.
  • Preparations began on June 1, with Thomas Jeromin decorating four to five hours daily as Susanne handled quality control.
  • Media reports cite about 125,000 baubles, 600 light strings and 165,000 hangers, with the collection valued at roughly €65,000.
  • Each plastic tree has its own theme, including Star Wars, Minions, football and Halloween, with some unconventional ornaments.
