German Carriers Slash 5G Plan Prices in Intensifying Budget Battle

Month-to-month 5G plans now start as low as €4.99 with bundles rising to 150 GB for €19.99 on major networks.

  • New MVNO sparSIM has introduced three 5G tariffs in Vodafone’s network priced between €4.99 for 15 GB and €9.99 for 45 GB with options for monthly cancellation or a 24-month contract.
  • Handyheld’s Klarmobil-backed plan offers 25 GB on Telefónica’s 5G network for €4.99 per month with unlimited calls, SMS, EU roaming and a one-time €9.99 setup fee.
  • sim24’s “Unlimited on Demand” package delivers 30 GB at up to 100 Mbit/s for €19.99 monthly and allows free in-app top-ups in 1 GB increments for continuous high-speed access.
  • sim.de has slashed its Allnet Flat 50 GB to €8.99 per month on a two-year contract with no provision fee, down from its usual €19.99 rate.
  • High-volume tiers include DR. SIM’s 100 GB Allnet Flat on Telekom’s D-Netz for €14.99 per month with no one-time fees, and Lebara’s HELLO! 100 upgrade to 150 GB for €19.99 with a €1 activation fee and €10 port-in bonus.
