Overview

• The championships run 5–7 September at the Hohenzollern Ski Stadium, with short individual on Friday, sprint on Saturday and pursuit on Sunday.
• Sophia Schneider (knee overload), Johanna Puff (infection) and Johannes Kühn (infection) will not start, confirmed DSV sport director Felix Bitterling.
• Nearly the entire A-team remains entered, including Franziska Preuß, Selina Grotian, Julia Tannheimer, Vanessa Voigt, Marlene Fichtner, Janina Hettich-Walz and the men’s A-squad minus Kühn.
• In the short individual, missed shots will trigger penalty loops instead of the usual 45-second time penalties under a DSV test to emphasize skiing speed.
• The DSV will provide a YouTube livestream, and aggregated results from the three races will be weighted at 40% in selection, as outlined by new men’s coach Tobias Reiter.
