Georgia Supreme Court Overturns Murder Conviction of Father Whose Son Died in Hot Car, Prosecutors Drop Charges

Justin Ross Harris will not face another trial for the death of his toddler in a hot car.
The Georgia Supreme Court reversed his murder and child cruelty convictions last June.
Prosecutors decided not to retry Harris on the reversed counts due to crucial evidence being no longer available.
Harris' convictions on three sex crimes committed against a 16-year-old girl were upheld by the high court.
Harris will continue to serve his 12-year sentence for those crimes.
