Despite a tough shooting day, with a field goal percentage of 35.8%, Georgia managed to secure the win.
Emmanuel Izunabor was the top scorer for NC Central with 12 points and also grabbed a game-high eight rebounds.
Georgia's next game is against No. 13 Miami on Friday, while NC Central will play host to Mid-Atlantic on Tuesday.
