Georges Blanc's Restaurant Downgraded After 44 Years as Michelin Three-Star

Maison Blanc had held three Michelin stars since 1981 and is the world's longest continuously Michelin-starred establishment, with its first star awarded in 1929.
Georges Blanc, 82, expressed surprise at the decision but affirmed his commitment to maintaining the restaurant's quality and legacy.
A total of 23 restaurants were downgraded in the 2025 Michelin Guide, including one other two-star establishment and 21 one-star establishments.
The Michelin Guide ceremony, where the full 2025 star rankings will be formally announced, is scheduled for March 31, 2025, in Metz, France.
