The movie is set to follow Rey Skywalker, played by Daisy Ridley, as she mentors a new generation of Jedi 15 years after 'The Rise of Skywalker.'
The project has seen significant delays and shifts, cycling through previous writers Damon Lindelof, Justin Britt-Gibson, and Steven Knight before landing on Nolfi.
Director Sharmeen Obaid-Chinoy remains attached to the film, which was announced in 2023 but has yet to secure a production start date.
