George Harrison's Futurama Guitar Poised for Record Auction

The iconic guitar played by Harrison during the Beatles' early days is expected to sell for over $800,000 in a Nashville auction.

George Harrison's Futurama guitar, purchased in 1959, is set to be auctioned in Nashville from November 20-22.
The guitar was used in over 324 performances, including early shows at the Cavern Club and tours in Hamburg.
Originally bought for £58, the guitar is anticipated to fetch between $600,000 and $800,000, with potential to exceed $1 million.
This instrument was once offered as a prize in a magazine competition but remained unclaimed.
The guitar will be displayed at The Beatles Story in Liverpool until October 17 before touring Europe.
