- GeoPark signed to acquire 100% of Pluspetrol’s interests in Loma Jarillosa Este and Puesto Silva Oeste, paying in cash at closing after a $22.7 million deposit.
- The company and the Neuquén government executed two actas acuerdo that frame the concession transfers and grant a new unconventional license for Puesto Silva Oeste.
- Under the agreements, GyP will hold 5% while GeoPark remains operator and carries GyP’s share on a fully recoverable basis during the carry period.
- GeoPark plans $500–600 million of investment through 2028, with construction in 2026 of a 20,000 bpd processing plant at Puesto Silva Oeste and an oil pipeline linking the blocks.
- The acreage totals about 12,300 gross acres with current output near 1,700–2,000 boepd, and GeoPark targets a production plateau of roughly 20,000 boepd by late 2028.
