Overview

  • miHoYo will remove Genshin Impact from the PlayStation Store on September 10, 2025, disable PS4 microtransactions on February 25, 2026, and end login access and updates on April 8, 2026.
  • Players who downloaded the PS4 version before the store delisting can still re-download and play until support ends, and any unclaimed purchases remain redeemable.
  • Cross-platform progression will be preserved through the PS5 edition and other platforms, ensuring seamless carryover of player data.
  • Starting December 17, 2025, in-game prompts will guide PS4 users to bind their accounts via email or QR code for migration.
  • The forthcoming 6.0 “Song of the Welkin Moon” update will raise minimum system requirements for PC, iOS, and Android devices to match the game’s evolving technical demands.
