Overview

• ORECA built and delivered the first of three GMR-001 LMDh chassis in early August after installing the engine, hybrid system and gearbox and completing a successful fire-up.
• André Lotterer and Pipo Derani completed simulator calibrations before turning the prototype’s first laps during a systems-checking shakedown at Circuit Paul Ricard.
• Genesis has started relocating operations into its new Le Castellet Race Base to centralize engineering, testing and development activities.
• The inaugural on-track run validated mechanical and electrical systems and established a baseline setup for further performance tuning.
• The team will follow a structured testing and FIA homologation schedule across multiple European circuits ahead of the GMR-001’s targeted Qatar 1812km debut in March 2026.
