Overview

• Geely Auto Australia began deploying the software on August 19, adding both wired and wireless Apple CarPlay at no cost to EX5 owners.
• CarPlay runs on the EX5’s 15.4-inch touchscreen with climate controls kept visible, and the update adds new display languages including Chinese, French, Indonesian, Norwegian, Polish, Portuguese, Russian, Spanish, Thai and Turkish.
• Android Auto, originally expected later in 2025, has been postponed and is scheduled to arrive via OTA in the first quarter of 2026.
• The rollout is currently limited to Australian vehicles, and Geely has not confirmed availability for Asia, the UK or Europe.
• The feature expansion follows strong demand for the model, with global EX5 deliveries surpassing 150,000 by July and 2,335 delivered in Australia year to date.
