Geely Launches Monjaro 2026 SUV in Mexico on Shared CMA Platform

The mid-size SUV uses a joint Renault-Geely platform to deliver Level 2 driver assists with premium cabin technology at an introductory price below 690,000 pesos.

Overview

  • Geely unveiled the Monjaro 2026 on July 11 in Mexico with an all-wheel-drive setup powered by a 2.0-liter turbo engine producing 235 hp and 350 Nm of torque paired to an eight-speed automatic transmission and seven drive modes.
  • Its Level 2 ADAS package includes 14 active safety assists such as autonomous emergency braking, lane-keeping assistance and adaptive cruise control.
  • The cabin integrates three 12.3-inch screens driven by a Snapdragon 8155 processor, offers wireless CarPlay and a 12-speaker Harman Infinity audio system for advanced connectivity and entertainment.
  • Launch pricing starts at 689,999 MXN for the first 300 units and rises to 699,999 MXN thereafter, with one year of free insurance and zero commission on financing.
  • Built on the CMA architecture shared with the new Renault Koleos 2026, Monjaro represents the first product of the Renault-Geely alliance and the HORSE Powertrain joint venture in Mexico.
