Overview

  • Gears of War: Reloaded will arrive on August 26, 2025, for PC, PS5 and Xbox Series X|S at $39.99 with day-one access on Game Pass.
  • A two-weekend multiplayer beta begins June 13 for pre-order customers, Game Pass Ultimate/PC subscribers and owners of the Ultimate Edition digital upgrade.
  • The remaster includes two-player co-op campaign, eight-player multiplayer, cross-platform play and cross-progression across all platforms.
  • Phil Spencer confirmed during the Xbox Games Showcase that Gears of War: E-Day, a prequel set 14 years before Emergence Day on Sera, will launch in 2026.
  • Both Reloaded and E-Day are in development at The Coalition, with Reloaded marking the franchise’s first release on PlayStation and reflecting Xbox’s move toward multiplatform launches.
