GE Vernova Tops Q2 Estimates and Raises 2025 Forecast

It raised its free cash flow target after surpassing profit estimates with stronger-than-expected revenue.

Overview

  • GE Vernova delivered adjusted EPS of $1.77 per share in the second quarter, beating the $1.51 consensus estimate.
  • Revenue climbed 11% year-over-year to $9.11 billion, surpassing analysts’ forecasts.
  • The company lifted its 2025 free cash flow guidance to $3 billion–$3.5 billion, signaled full-year revenue toward the upper end of $36 billion–$37 billion and projected tariff impacts at the lower end of $300 million–$400 million.
  • Core profit in the power segment rose about 27% to $778 million and electrification profits more than doubled while the wind division posted a $165 million core loss.
  • Shares jumped over 4% in premarket trading and have gained nearly 70% year-to-date since the April 2024 spin-off.
