Overview

• North Corporation Commissioner Pommala Sunil Kumar inspected Yelahanka hotspots including Kogilu Cross, ordered temporary and permanent fixes, and reviewed stormwater works at Kogilu Circle with drainage directives near Ramanashree California Garden and Puttenahalli Lake.
• Additional Commissioner Latha R. oversaw Dasarahalli clean-ups by clearing black spots and debris on M. S. Ramaiah Layout Main Road and reopening a closed public toilet at MEI Colony Ground after hearing resident grievances.
• South zone chief K. N. Ramesh reviewed the Ejipura secondary transfer station that processes 160–170 tonnes of waste daily using capsule vehicles and automated segregation, and pressed for similar facilities across wards.
• East zone commissioner Ramesh D. S. removed unauthorised stalls from Bellandur footpaths with earthmovers and fined a restaurant ₹25,000 for poor hygiene, while KR Puram inspections ordered drain desilting, road repairs and new public toilets at Tin Factory.
• Saturday’s rollout included footpath restorations, drain desilting and penalties such as a ₹10,000 fine to Empire Hotel in CV Raman Nagar, along with directions to deploy mobile toilets at Majestic.
