Overview

• Since late May, the ICRC field hospital in south Gaza has recorded 200 deaths and treated over 2,200 weapon-wounded across more than 21 mass casualty events.
• UN Human Rights Office data show that over 500 civilians have been killed while waiting at Gaza Humanitarian Foundation distribution points during near-daily shootings.
• ICRC has redeployed all personnel into emergency roles, with physiotherapists dressing wounds, cleaners carrying stretchers and midwives providing palliative care.
• Nearly all of Gaza’s hospitals are out of service or only partially functional due to chronic shortages of medicine and equipment.
• A four-month Israeli ban on fuel shipments has grounded ambulances, shut down hospital generators and left water and power supplies critically low.
