Gayle King Celebrates 12 Years at CBS Mornings in Signature Yellow Dress

The veteran journalist maintains tradition and receives tributes from colleagues and celebrities, with no plans for retirement.

Gayle King celebrated her 12th anniversary on CBS Mornings by wearing the same yellow and white color-block Alexandra Kramer dress she wore on her first day.
This is an annual tradition that King has maintained for the past 12 years, wearing the dress every year on January 9.
King was showered with yellow cupcakes and love from her fellow co-hosts, including Tony Dokoupil, Nate Burleson and Vladimir Duthiers.
King was also surprised with a video package with best wishes from a slew of her former interview subjects, including Serena Williams, Billy Crystal, Barbra Streisand, Robert De Niro, Ed Sheeran, Sebastian Maniscalco and Charles and Cassie Kelly.
Despite King’s long career in TV, retirement appears to be the last thing on her mind. She revealed that she has no plans to slow down any time soon.
