• Adani and his son Jeet arrived at Garg’s Kahilipara residence on Sunday night at around 9 pm and stayed for about half an hour.
• They met Garima Saikia Garg and offered floral tributes at the singer-composer’s home, according to an official account reported by PTI.
• Garg died in Singapore on September 19 while swimming in the sea, triggering large crowds and memorials in Assam.
• Adani said he had never seen such a public gathering for an artist’s demise and indicated his team would reach out to the family to explore support.
• During the Assam visit, Adani was also slated to meet Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma and review progress at Guwahati Airport, The Sentinel reported.
