Overview

  • IIT Guwahati moved the no‑late‑fee application deadline to September 28, 2025 from September 25.
  • The extended window with a late fee now closes on October 9, replacing the earlier October 6 cutoff.
  • Exams will be held on February 7, 8, 14 and 15, 2026 in two sessions daily (9:30 am–12:30 pm and 2:30 pm–5:30 pm), with results due March 19, 2026.
  • Fees per paper are Rs 1,000 for Female/SC/ST/PwD in the regular window and Rs 1,500 in the extended window; other candidates pay Rs 2,000 and Rs 2,500 respectively, with two‑paper applications charged double.
  • Applicants must upload a photo, signature, valid ID, and applicable SC/ST, PwD/UDID or dyslexic certificates before submitting at gate2026.iitg.ac.in.
