• IIT Guwahati will shut the GATE 2026 application window with a late fee on October 13, 2025, and another extension is considered unlikely.
• Extended-period fees per test paper are Rs 1,500 for Female/SC/ST/PwD candidates and Rs 2,500 for others, which is Rs 500 higher than the regular rate.
• Applications must be completed exclusively at gate2026.iitg.ac.in by registering, filling the form, uploading documents, paying the fee, and submitting.
