  • This price is down from $3.22 a week earlier and nearly 30 cents lower than the June 2024 average of $3.491 per gallon.
  • Twenty-one states now report average gasoline costs below $3 per gallon, up from 17 states last Friday.
  • Mississippi posts the lowest state average at $2.715 per gallon while California remains highest at $4.594.
  • The Gulf Coast saw average prices rise to $2.84 per gallon on June 23, even as Michigan ($3.27) and Wisconsin ($2.97) hold year-over-year savings.
